Weeks of October 15th - October 18th
and October 21st - October 25th
​1) Begin new unit on Google Docs. Follow the tutorials and Mrs. Brister's instructions to tour Google Docs and complete various functions using the tools.
2) Complete these instructions on a Google Docs of your own.
Week 13
Week of October 28th - November 1st
​1) Begin a new Google Doc. Give it the file name: first and last name - poem. Give your doc the title: "All About Me."
2) Type the poem center aligned, Times New Roman font size 18 for title and 12 for text. Fill in the blanks with your answers before you type.

Week 13
1.) Finish your Google Docs poem. Print and turn in.
2) Some of the most intelligent and famous people in history have failed at some point in their lives. Failure is a part of growing and learning. Students will complete an Internet Scavenger Hunt on "Growth Mindset: Famous Failures" using their iPads and given QR Codes/Questions. Students will learn how these people rose above their failures and became some of the most famous and influential people in the world.
2) Scan each code and view the video or read the information to answer the corresponding questions.
Week of October 28th - November 1st
Weeks 14-17
Week of November 11th -

1) Begin 50 States Google Slide project. Distribute handout with instructions and rubric.
2) Students will go to https://docs.google.com/presentation. Set up/format Slides project and complete the title slide.
Week 18
Week of December 2nd - December 6th
​
1) Help students to complete their 50 States Google Slide shows with transitions and animations.
2) Students will color a Christmas banner to decorate our hall.
