Students will play Baamboozle to review Innovation Lab rules & procedures. Quiz in next week's iLab class.

Students will complete an "All About Me" STEM poster. Color, cut, and paste. Complete for Homework!

Weeks 6 & 7

Week of September 9th - September 13th

 

1.) Students watch an educational video about the September 11th attack on the United States at the link here.

2) Then go to the following website to research and answer questions on the attached WebQuest based on 9/11. Click here

3) Any unfinished work becomes homework due our next class session.

Week 8

Week of September 16th - September 20th

Begin Digital Citizenship unit. This week, discuss finding a balance in our digital lives and making good media choices. Students will track their media usage for one week. Turn in. Students may play Twalkers to practice this new information.

Week 9

Week of September 30th - October 4th

Continue studying Digital Citizenship. This week, discuss private and personal information and what information is ok to share online. Students will complete the cut and paste activity to distinguish which pieces of information are private or just personal. Turn in. Students may play Share Jumpers to practice this new infomation.

Week 10

Continue studying Digital Citizenship. This week, we will discuss digital footprint and how it affects our lives. Students will complete handout distinguishing which things are in their control or out of their control online. 

Week of September 30th - October 4th

Week 9

Continue studying Digital Citizenship. This week, we will discuss cyberbullying and digital drama and we can be upstanders to help others. Students will complete questions from today's discussion and create a comic strip in which a superhero is being an upstander against cyberbullying. Turn in.

Week 9

Week of September 30th - October 4th

1) Begin a new Google Doc. Give it the file name: first and last name - poem. Give your doc the title: "All About Me."

2) Type the poem center aligned, font size 18 for title and 14 for text. Fill in the blanks with your answers as you type. 

3) What you don't finish becomes homework to be printed and due our next class session.

Continue to go over Google Docs with Mrs. Brister using the following videos. Students will more on formatting and images this week.
